That's right --- Dating!
Specifically, I'm talking about Internet Dating.
Did you know that about 60% of the people that meet and marry today meet on-line? Those may not be the exact numbers. I haven't done the research but that is what I've been told. What I do know is this: I've personally been involved in weddings with about 20 couples who met through internet dating.
The Number #1 thing people complain about meeting people from those sites is that the people don't look anything like their picture. In many cases, the pictures that have been posted are many, many years old. The reason would that would either be to deceive about their age, or, because the person thought those were simply the pictures that were the best made. I can't help with the deception, but I will get shots of you that look just like you... maybe slightly better. But they will be you and they will be up-to-date.
Those "not so candid", yet candid, shots will show those looking at your pics who you are and who they'll be meeting. Those awkward meetings where you know they notice that the pic you displayed was 15 years old will happen no more.
If 60% of the couples are meeting like this then I suggest you consider having your candids made professionally. Call me for pricing and suggestion. My pricing will entail coming to your house, office, tennis court, golf course, sailboat or wherever will make you feel the most comfortable. It's fair to your prospective suitors and you'll also get some great shots you can use for business cards or whatever reason you may have. I don't approach these like portrait sittings with light set-ups, etc. These will be really, really good "posed" candids.
Those who I have photographed for this purpose, and those who I will in the future, will not be displayed on my site. While I usually retain rights to do so of my clients, I will let you retain your privacy and discretion.
